Calvin Uzelmeier Ph.D.

Calvin is the Director of Featured Content at the Rochester Museum & Science Center (RMSC).  Over his 15+ year career at the RMSC, Calvin has led the museum’s education initiatives with both school and general-public audiences, managed a team of nearly 200 staff and volunteers, and been involved in many creative endeavors to educate, enhance and continuously improve the experience of museum visitors. Dr. Uzelmeier has taught Chemistry at Nazareth College, the University of Rochester, and Monroe Community College, and worked as a chemical researcher at the University of Alabama, Rohm & Haas Company, and Oak Ridge National Laboratories.  In addition to his work at the museum and teaching, he has contributed to Walt Disney Animation’s “Find Out Why” as a science content expert. He now extends his passion for innovation to innovating adult leadership learning with BadFish Consulting.
